Our Y volunteers help move people forward, delivering benefits of good health, strong connections, greater self‐=confidence and a sense of security to all those who seek it. To help you choose an area in which you would be interested, the YMCA has established five categories of volunteers: • ADMINISTRATION: Filing, Copying, and Fundraising Support (behind the scenes) • AQUATICS: Helping Children with the SPLASH Program, Co‐=Teaching Swim Lessons • MEMBERSHIP: Greeter/Encourager in the Main Lobby, Assisting with KidZone and Parents Night Out • PROPERTY: Painting, Grounds Keeping, Housekeeping, Assisting with General Maintenance • WELLNESS: Providing a Wellness Talk or Seminar, Serving as a Wellness Greeter & Support Person, Assisting with XRKade • YOUTH: Assisting with Teen Activities • GENERAL: Available in all Program Areas, Working with Special Events, Creating Bulletin Boards, Assisting with Special Projects,    Developing Marketing & Communication Pieces Volunteers are essential to us.
